hello!
the weekend has been rather fulfilling!haha! here i am typing, hoping to get some sleep because..........it is raining! but noooo, i cant sleep because i havent showered and...its 6.30pm, a little too late to get some nap. i shall wait till 10pm before hitting the sheeeets! haha.
i didnt get to do much exercise this weekend, although i did some dancing. haha! we had natsu matsuri yday and it was great! the weather was bad, so all the performances and bon odori were held indoors at the sports hall.....brilliant atmosphere but it was kinda smelly because we cant wear shoes in the sports hall..haha! all the smelly feet from the soaked feet. hmm..this year we had rosy, clara, diy and the sister in the natsu party and they were allll awesome company! though rosy and diy did fell sick during the event...please get well soon lovelies! rest moreee!
oooh, i got my haircut! bangs bangs bangs...ahahaha..will wait for the sis to upload the pics to show show show......im too lazy to upload..ahaha! she's the dilligent one.

another short post for you little miss pretty blog.
the boss is out for lunch and there is only one colleague in the office...soooo hopefully no one comes back soon so i can write this short entry in peace.

yup, i mentioned evening cycling in the previous entry, well i accomplish that last evening..got home and the mom was cooking dinner...changed into slacks..went downstairs to the void deck and cycled maybe about 20 rounds (the route is super short, so 20 rounds is nothing.....dont think too highly of me!!HAHA!) i didnt want to stop, but i changed the gear too fast and the chain came loose....SIGH, i decided to stop and went back home to fix the chain..haha..same thing tonight hopefully, although i had planned to get a haircut......the mommers is going to the salon today so i thought i wanted to tag along but...i prefer giving up the haircut to a nice bonding session with the siblings....they are the real clowns. hahaha! we always end up laughing like hyenas on the way back home, its so amazing. hahaha!

ohoh...yday i told you my boss scolded me....she didnt really, just implied. haha.. she wanted to know what i've learnt so far so i showed her....but she came over to my table so fast i wasnt able to close the wikipedia page i was on....so part of it was showing while i showed her what i do everyday.....and guess what wiki page i was reading? hahaha.. the wikipedia page on SQUIDS. haha..thinking back...it must have looked really stupid. hahaha..SQUIDSSSS.....why couldnt it have been shipping or some cute animal.....SQUID....oh man.........this bit is going to drive me nuts with laughter in future. haha!

and what else......ah yes....my mom is funny, she went to buy 4D just now and she bought a number for me..ahhaha..the number sounds really lucky to me by the way...so hopefully i will be able to win!i need a holiday now!!!YAY!! wish me luck everyone, or if you can, transfer some luck to me today! ooohh, come let me share something disgusting...ahaha! my face is nuts......its so pimply now...i feel like i have some diseaseeee....there are red spots everywhere and eeeewwww..disgusting....cant believe im even out at work..for days like this i wish that i do not have work and can stay at home to nurse those little pores...ahaha! just hoping the new cream will work for me. i need luck here too..come come, donate your luck!haha!

i told you i will update you about my exercising weekend. this weekend was a total failure! and absolute happiness. i did not go running :(((boohoo, i only went for about 6 rounds of cycling at the void deck.....

saturday was jam packed. morning visit to the hosp with the sis for checkup and afternn lunch/dinner with rosy and candy. brilliant chit-chat session and it was then where we realised that our following monday will be free and planned for the brilliant outing. HAHA.

sunday...could have slept in later but the mother wanted to try out the new bike. i was dead beat after sat night's outing but still managed to pull myself out because i wanted to try out my new bike too. ohoh....i didnt get the chance to try my new bike before this because the tyre was punctured!i have no idea how it happened so the repair guy only came by to fix it on saturday..yes...and i cycled about 6 rounds, that was it. sad, maybe i will try cycling every evening.

monday was great staying at home. and having fun!

i went and got myself a new bike! haha! more evening exercises then...cycling round the neighbourhood. haha!

and....i think i may have gotten a idea what i wanna do from now on. for now, i've got to work hard and learn what i can learn in the brilliant oil industry. save some money for the university. :) im coming!

brilliant weekend for me. here's my entry.

1. running.
had the sudden urge on friday to go running and decided to follow the dad on his saturday morning run at 6am! OMGOMG! haha, got you there! OF COURSE, i did not wake up at 5am to go running, i woke up at 9am! and started the jog with the sister who felt faint halfway through and we had to turn back. so, i thought of making up for the run on sunday morning instead. but, i didnt do it in the morning. it was only till 4.45pm that i decided i had nothing else to do, and went for the run myself. i plugged on the pod, put on those pretty nikes and went for a jog around my neighbourhood. it was awesome, running by myself. i felt like i havent ran in 10 years, only a few minutes into it and i wanted to stop, but no, pushed myself really hard and went on around the neighbourhood till i came back to the void deck. proud of myself i really am. i think i may be up for it again next week, i will let you know. haha! i also had to breathe in lots of fumes from the cars and people smoking just now and i felt sick, like i could choke! i should find another route next time round. :) im so crazy over running now im even looking at the nike10km run....but, the registration is now closed and come on... i CANNOT run 10km in one day. haha..its a killer, i went to calculate and it is a total of 25 rounds of the stadium! OMG.nike is mad. haha!

2. furniture.
mom the workaholic shifted the furniture here and there this weekend and i unwillingly had to clear up my table and room, blahblah. first, she shifted our 'library' outside into the living room and i, who love the books very very much, couldnt stand the sight of the books messed up so i arranged them a little, to make them a little presentable. she then got a crazy ugly set of small cupboard and wanted to put them in my room! i told her, no! that thing is not going into my room, 110% NO! and it is now a shoerack around the front door area. i took the chance to take out all my pretty shoes which were in the previous shoerack, being stepped on by other messed up shoes..and i arranged them nicely into the new shoerack, taking care not to dirty the other shoes. great job well done. i didnt leave it at that, i went on to pack my study table, computer table, display table, display cabinet and arranged everything so neat as if it were fit for the king!HAHA!

3. ahh, tv.
watched a little of the telly, not much, but enough to make me happy. olympics was awesome, opening ceremony was great, was surprised at how much effort the chinese did for this, but yeah the olympic flame was my favourite part, the last runner up in the air, 'running' on the scroll towards the cauldron that was supposed to hold the flame. it was really good.
i was also watching great ocean adventures on animal planet and came across a super duper interesting fact. in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada (i think its this place because i cant really remember, too many shows.)the locals do not lock the doors of their cars because they live in a town where polar bears and bears are like the locals and they walk about anywhere they want. if any locals (the local humans) went to their nearby convenience store to get some snacks and is just about heading home, turns a corner and finds a bear charging towards him/her, the unlock cars serve as a shelter to protect themselves from the hungry animals! that is, if they are lucky enough to find a car next to them. haha..interesting huh! they are so nice, i wanna live there.

4. national day in church.
we had to sing the national anthem at the end of mass......? like wehhh? hahaha! hilarious!
happy national day! happy 43rd birthday singapore! when everyone sings the national day songs, they give me goosebumps. nice feeling goosebumps. :)))))

5. For Bernie Mac. goodbye funny man!
read it on yahoo news and couldnt help but feel a real pity for the world. the same for steve irwin, heath ledger and estelle getty. even though i just know them through the telly, i feel sad that there wont be anymore shows with them in it. their deaths are so real and so weird i have a difficulty describing how i feel. an ex-colleague of mine also recently passed away and it seems that there are more and more death occurences when you are much older compared to when you were younger and the sadness now is much more than when you were a kid. i must try my best not to take living for granted and need to thank god for keeping my family and myself so safe and sound. for bernie mac and everyone else, may they have a peaceful time in heaven.

ok, im heading off to bed now, have work tmr............sigh.

say hello to the wonderful friday sun and sky and clouds and sea and roads and buses and people and ETC.

fridays are brilliant, everyone is happier on fridays and everyone is more slack on fridays. its now 2.14pm and not even half of the office is back from lunch! hahaha! the power of FRIDAYS.

its so sad fridays gets all the love and attention and all mondays and the rest of the days get is ...............nothing. haha! poor things.

i had soooo much to blog about this morning. but then i was busy reading news and clearing emails and whatnot, so i couldnt and now, i dont remember what i wanted to blog about. beh. sitting next to me now is a pile of reports waiting to be filed...and i wanted to do it earlier, but i expected the colleagues to be having a super duper longggggg lunch, so i shall do it soon after i finish this entry. hahaha!

how did you like my gorilla pictures huhh..beautiful yeah? haha..according to cnn.com, they found more species of gorillas in congo, a total of 125,000 more gorillas! thats good! more balance in the genes and more hope for their future. i really hope the poaching wont increase because there are more gorillas. hmmm...our poor animals.

i wanna do volunteer work! maybe with an organisation that's got to do with animal conservation. but i was thinking maybe the zoo will be a good place too? i hate to be in dirty places, so im going to try hard to overcome that habit....and then i can help! i cant imagine myself getting all dirty and muddy...haha!

i was in the bus with mommers to work today and she was reading 'Today'..there was an article about a baby girl abandoned in india, because she was born to a surrogate mother and her parents are going through a divorce. really, the nerve of some people..............where are their morals? ok, she's not really abandoned, i think the biological dad will still be adopting her but under indian law, a male cannot adopt a female baby. there are more details about it in the papers, but of course, im too lazy to be typing all of that down. whats irritating is that the mother (she's not the real mom, they took another lady's egg,fertilised it with the biological dad's sperm and she carried the baby.) doesnt want the baby...... shouldnt she have the responsibility of adopting the baby? just because the baby isnt hers, does she really have the right to abandoned it? true, she may be a single mum and may get despised by society....but what if the baby grows up an orphan and kids humiliate her for having no family? i hope the dad adopts the baby!

i woke up this morning...thought it was friday and was smiling sleepily....but then i suddenly realise..........its a thursday. ahhhhhh..damn it. haha.. tmr tmr, i will be smiling all day!

aw man, the money bug hits me again!

haha, i was travelling to work as usual yeah and there on the road calling out to me, were the beautiful mercedes benz...and i thought to myself..no one ever got a merc just by looking at it, they all had to ride the train, be like sardines, before they got to the cars...unless your daddy is doing oil, then its a totally different storyyy..and then the whole thing led me back to work.............how i should carry on slogging because there would be one day (in future)where i will be able to have a million bucks in my bank. and i will be so proud of it.....it's something i want to achieve in my life, 1 million bucks! ok, time to bring the hope back down again, no high hopes.......haha! and then also while walking, a quote came into my mind: "i make my own future".......AHAHAHAHAHAHA...i know its a quote, but i dont know where that came from......kinda got me thinking..and laughing at the same time why that kind of quote surfaced in my brain at 8.20am.AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!

so, to extend or not to extend? that is the question. i shall try not to be troubled over this....after all, there are more things to be troubled about...LIKE....i just read straits times and there's an article on the illegal hunting of gorillas...they showed a picture of gorillas tied up (i think they are dead, because they look so still)...and in the background, loads of locals from i dont know where, im assuming they are the ones who caught the gorillas. and if im not wrong, they caught the silverback, which is usually the head of the group. here's a picture.


the leader is called the silverback because their backs are greyish white. this silverback is soooo huge!


and this guy, cant really tell if he is a silverback but he sure has the look. "why so serious?" AHAHAHAHA!! remember where that quote came from?

AND, they found a croc near pasir ris! omg! so exciting!haha! and they say it might be a saltwater croc! omg, its supposed to be huge and aggressive! as studied from crocodile hunter..but it will be really cool to have a salty here..dont know what the reserve people are going to do to it...hopefully, release it back into the wild and not keep them in the zoo!

oh i hate it when i regret extending work.

here i am, so tired and sleepy because i didnt have enough sleep..wishing that i could be in bed now, sleeping happily and waking up to a quiet house..

in the train so crowded and squeezy, i wished i didnt have to work and could go out shopping in the noon instead...and not running to work like sardines in the morning.

at work, where some insane people come in at 8.45am and start doing work, makes me wanna turn them into some juice because they make me feel guilty for surfing facebook at this time.

oh, when will i ever learn, why is it always in the middle where i will feel sick and tired of work and when month end comes, i will be thinking of money....noooo......i hate it. i have 18 more days of work and i dont know if i will be extending again......i mean..its good experience...right?

its 1st aug and im at work. yup, i've extended my stay at my current temping company. just couldnt resist it. both the money and the experience. who knew i would fall in love with boring dirty oil?haha..end of aug, i will be gone, i think. HAHA! ok, update update.

boss is not in office today, think many people will be coming in around 10.....
(EDIT: not really, its 9.03 and there are already 5 people in the office, out of about 11...thats not bad right? people in the oil industry really take their time seriously...every second counts!haha!)when the internet is down for only a few seconds, they get all cranky and keeps calling for the IT people.....its quite irritating sometimes, BUT, you cant blame them. every second is equals to a million bucks! thats what i've learnt here. HAHAHAHA! and...my company's annual bonus is coming up, everyone is soooo excited here...BONUS! unfortunately, i wont be getting one.....boohoooo..ok, moving onnn..

1. japanese exam this sunday!
omg! i started writing my notes only yesterday (Thursday). i think i will be in alot of trouble if i dont continue writing them. japanese is soooooo difficultttt..boooo....ahhhhhh! ganbarimasu ne!

2. korean wave.
ahhh, this current obsession.......i love koreans now! its funny how my sister doesn't have the same interest as me, but her friends do!haha! in sec sch, it was the japanese phase, and now in poly, its korean.... she complains that her friends (both in sec sch and poly)speak the same 'fangirl' language as me everyday! AHAHAHAA!!!pearlynn ang is a LOSSSERRRRR, go become a korean! and sungmin is so cute! OMG!

3. damn it....i went up to edit my third paragraph and i forgot what i wanted to put here......beh. im going to die forgetting who i am...someone save me!haha!
