heya bloggerdooos, updates updates!!
1. im currently reading HARRY POTTER again! deathly hallows this time, sad to say, this has only been my SECOND time reading it and im not proud of it. i should have read it one million times and memorized it already, oh well, boohoo, when im 50, im gonna have read it so many times, i shall be able to read out the whole story purely based on my memory! HA! AHAHHA! i've just stopped at the all crucial ending to blog..........i know, like whutttt? but i felt like it so here i am!
2. work was good today. not much work, therefore plenty of time to finish other backlog work. i hope tomorrow will be the same......i need timeeee..work was funny today as well. after work, everyone went down to harry's bar to get a drink coz the big bosses were around and we had to go down and join them. urrmmm, everyone was pretty much high and gone...esp our two bosses in singapore. HILARIOUS, my drunk japanese boss, he came over and talked to us about our colleague's name, his name was frank and my boss asked me what i thought of his character, and i said "frank"..HAHA...boss also talked about china history. in japan, they study japanese history and world history, according to the boss, their world history book was 50% china history.....hahaha..apparently, japanese know china history better than the chinese! and then he started talking about how humans are like a tribe of monkeys! hahaha, oh man, i was trying so hard not to laugh..and then he went on to talk about how he likes fishes and thinks he can connect with them! OH I LOVE MY JAPANESE BOSS! HAHAHAHAHA! FUNNY!
3. amidst all these crazy times and economic downturns, look! good things DO happen. not that they dont happen usually, but i think when times are bad, good things tend to stand out more and i wish all of us would see it more, hope for it more and look out for it more often, in bad times AND good times. i was reading the paper on monday morning and i remembered reading a short section of the paper about how some south korean navy guards help saved their communist counterpart, the north koreans navy from pirates near somalia. this was really nice, the north koreans of course did thank them for their help as well. its these little acts which helps us get through these times. when i have a hard day at work, i think about people who have no job. when i waste food, i think about people in the poorer countries having nothing to eat. some of us seem to think that we dont have to think this way anymore, when i was younger, i used to hear many people say "finish your food, kids in africa have no food to eat"...well, im sad that not many ppl say that anymore...but im glad that some people still practise that. most of us seem to think we wanna change the world, make it a better place, i say of course, make the world a better place but we have to admit that the world is already a very beautiful place, we just need to make it MORE beautiful....i read somewhere about something mr ghandi said " an eye for an eye, and everyone will be blind"....something along those lines, cant remember the exact quote.. but yeah, im sure we all get the idea, great man mr ghandi..:) in my opinion, we all should learn how to say SORRY. sorry IS the hardest word to say, but i think it solves every problem, no?
so ok, today, let's pray that we learn how to say sorry. heee:)
loves everyone!
