i didnt felt like blogging today but i came online and had nothing much to do...so i shall blog a little. hahaha..

i played with lanterns today. its mooncake festival, officially...because the moon is round round round and its the 15 of the month. i played with the old traditional fire ones, so pretty. i've uploaded pictures but im lazy to put them up. haha! anyways, i picked out a lantern for myself and had fun carrying it around downstairs for one hour...there were others out holding lanterns this special night too and we shared sparklers..heee:) then later i got home and we usually didnt put out the fire, we let them go out themselves......so i stuck my lantern under some pile of books and came into my room to surf the net. after about 15 mins, my bro ran in and shouted:"eh! got fire leh!" hahahaha!! we ran outside to the living room and my father was putting out the small fire my lantern caused. boohoo, my pretty lantern........ :( i took a picture of my burnt lantern too. boooooo.

today i watched the charity event for standup2cancer and i felt really touched by all the letters from cancer patients, their family and friends and the encouragement everyone gave to cancer patients. its just so heartwarming and i love it. we all need a little push to help the love in us grow stronger! and i hope mine can grow as big as it can get! yours too! there was this guy, im not sure if he is a cancer patient but he said something which i would like to share share share.......he said something like this: we spend millions of dollars each year to invent something to kill each other so i think our priorities are kinda screwed.. haha, i agree with what he said and i think it will be great to hope and have faith that one day, peace will come. it doesnt matter if we cant help, we just have to believe in world peace, right? i believe in world peace. pack that with a hug and everything will be ok. be healthy everyone!

although a transport fare hike is nothing compared to cancer, the thought of paying that extra money to get around singapore and not to fund cancer researches kinda hurts. i hope one day the transport fare drops and then we have enough money to donate to charities who really need it. i think everyone's quite scarred by rich charities.....me included.....hopefully, love can overcome any barrier...haha!

ok, thats about it. nothing else to blog about. except tomorrow is monday and i dread work.........no....i dread waking up early even more......thats why i shall get going to bed now, so that i will be energetic tomorrow!! weeeee!
